The Work of the Church, Our Committees...
The committees of the church are the heartbeat of fulfilling the church’s mission and vision. People of diverse backgrounds and thinking coming together to bring our ministry into being. They are our statement of faith in action.
Religious Education Committee works to develop and oversee the religious education curriculum and to nurture the developing faith of our children.
The Finance Committee supports the congregation with the managing of the financial well being of the church.
The Membership Committee cares and nurtures the members of the congregation. They offer new member orientations, fellowship opportunities and other membership events.
The Audit Committee audits the church’s finances as directed by our by laws.
The Memorial Fund Committee manages the gifts given to the church in memory of deceased members.
The Committee on Ministry cares for and nurtures the minister of our congregation.
The Flower Committee orders the beautiful flowers we see in the sanctuary each Sunday and on special holidays.
The Music Committee facilitates the inspiring music we hear from our choir and special guests through the year for regular and special worship services.
The Signboard Committee cares for and manages the roadside pulpit of our church. This committee is responsible for posting inspiring and thought provoking messages that express who we as UU’s are.
The History Committee are keepers of our 200 year old history.
